My fall favorite lies directly in this recipe.

The combination of the nutty brown butter, the ooey gooey cookie dough and the melted chocolate makes me crave the autumn leaves. This is the perfect recipe to serve at a holiday dinner for dessert or on your own for a weekend in!

Brown Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Recipe

1 1/3 cups butter

1 cup brown sugar

1 cups white sugar

1 tsp salt

2 eggs

1 tsp baking soda

2 tsp vanilla extract

3 cups flour

1.5 cups chopped dark chocolate

Brown butter, add to sugar, salt and vanilla in a large bowl. Add in eggs and mix well. Add in baking soda and flour, stir until combined, stir in chocolate chunks-be sure not to over mix.

Refrigerate for 2 hours then form in to large double scoop balls (about 1/3 cup each)

Bake at 350 for 12 to 14 minutes
